For sale is an original, circa 1950s, new old stock NOS, handmade ceiling or wall mount lantern, octagon eight sides, two level, made of wood and opaque white plastic panels. Commonly known as a Chinese paper lantern, silk fortuny, Venetian or concubine or concubina lamp. The lantern has two wood spanners inside the lamp that allow it to be mounted (hardware not included) and involves a basic D.I.Y ability to install. Using a 7-watt CFL fixture with the lamp is both environmentally friendly, economical and allows for a mood light since all sides are opaque. Shipping is $38 CONUS.

Only a handful of these exist along with their counterparts, the 3D phoenix plaque. Illmatic framing of the DJ booth on fire, as the greeting foyer entrance of a lounge, or that special wall where it will appeal to the aggressive ambitious and confident dragon inside all of us.
